Getting Connected for Better Communication
You might think that only the big hotels need to provide their customers with services like Internet access or the use of fax machines, but even smaller businesses like guest houses can benefit from introducing these features. The Internet these days has so many uses that it is not quite an exaggeration to say that a majority of people actually need to be connected to it in order to complete their daily routine. So, if you have a guest house of your own, you can attract more business travellers if you are able to offer them Internet services which they can use to report back to their home offices or communicate with their clients.
You can set aside a certain room or a corner of your reception lobby where you can have a couple of computers which guests can use to check their e-mails, for example. Or, if you are worried about the traffic in the hallways and the lobby that doing this might cause, you can offer wireless Internet connectivity instead for guests who have their own laptops.
